Boy Name?

We named our first child Violet and we really like the idea of plant names for all of our kids and most plant names I feel would be better for a girl but there's one I think sounds more gender neutral but I just want to see what you guys think, the name we kinda like for a boy is Sage, do you guys think it sounds gender neutral or more for a girl? I've never actually met someone named Sage so I'm not sure how it would match.

I’ve seen people on this app use it as a boys name before, but all of the people I know named Sage (4) are girls. I usually associate it with a girl.

I have a cousin named Sage so I always associate it with boy, he is like 16 years old now. Then a girl I know named her girl sage and it just sounds so weird to me because I’ve never known a girl named sage. So I associate it with boy
