A&D or Desitin?

I like Bordeaux's Butt Paste. Takes care of the rash quickly and doesn't have that chemical smell.

I'm going to try Boudreaux's butt paste. My dad used it on my little brother and it worked great. 
I had terrible diaper rash when I was little so the smell of desitin is somewhat nostalgic...lol

A&D is great for protecting a existing rash. Butt paste is they way to go though. The zinc oxide in desitin burns on rashes.

My daughter used to scream if I put desitin on so we stick to A&D  I may try the butt paste and see if it doesn't burn on the new little one.

One of my friends works newborn nursery/PP/AP and swears by boudreauxs butt paste. I'm an ICU nurse and I've used it on adults and it works wonders on them as well lol

My older boys still use Desitin if they get rashes (hubby, too) and they call it Magic Cream because the rash will always be gone by the next day.

I use aquaphor as well. I have used a and d in the past. Desitin and butt paste really irritated my boys sensitive skin

I like aquafor.  I had to take my son to a dermatologist for a rash and they told me not to use A&D cuz it can actually make it worse. They approved desitin but I don't like the white paste. I find it hard to wash off my son. Just buy a few different small tubes and see what one works best for you and baby. :-)

I alternate both when my children get rashes destin normally works quick but it burns them if bad rash where a and d is just cool to their skin
