Recurring Hives
My son first got hives about 8 weeks ago after he was prescribed Augmentin. Therefore, the doctors determined that he had an allergy and gave him a shot of Rocephin. The hives got worse. After about a week they were still happening, so I booked him another appointment. They said it could take a while to wear off and to give it another week. He was still getting them, so they said maybe he had a dairy allergy. As I am breastfeeding, I cut out dairy, and nothing changed. The hives have been very random and are mostly on his legs, but yesterday they spread all over his body again. I'm hesitant to take him in, because I know there's probably not much they can do. Any ideas on why could be causing this? I know this has to be uncomfortable for him! We use All Free and Clear Laundry detergent. He has started on solids (peas, avocados, rice cereal, and bananas), but has never reacted after food.
