Should the line be darker?

My period is late by 8 days now, i don't have many symptoms only mildly sore breasts and tiredness (I was feeling nauseous last week)
My point is, should I be worried? I was told the line should be getting darker but for 8 days passed my missed period the test line looks pretty faint 😪😞 just hoping everything is ok...

My dear, the line you need to worry about is on the left not right !! Left is the one that picks up the HCG and that’s darker than the control line !

No it's about right I didn't get a full positive till I was about 5 weeks and even then it wasn't dark
