what do/did you look for in a life partner?

what kinds of questions did you ask yourselves when you were moving forward in the dating game?

I have had some pretty crappy experiences with men, and some good, so now I'm at a loss as to how to discern my next relationship, ie who to go for. I find I am wildly attracted to guys who end up being assholes, or rather, I do not get along with them emotionally, despite a strong physical connection.

what am I doing wrong? how can I have a good relationship and also have physical attraction be present? thank you for your reading and shares. ☺️
