Help - does my son need to see the pedi for this ingrown?

I personally would ask the pediatrician because I don’t know how to fix something like that and it’s always best to het a professional opinion on something that can get infected, especially on an infant.

My 2 year old has them and I found a good link by googling something like “ingrown toenail toddler”. Basically it just said to try to push the skin away when possible and keep it uninfected.

My son gets this on his hands nails I didn’t realize it’s ingrown ? Meaning the nail is growing into the skin on finger edge rather than over ? I just try to round off the nail edges so it’s not pinty and poking this funny skin part but not sure if that’s why itsgrowing the skin funny on corner  to begin with ?  
Not sure if we are suppose to cut straight square nails or round off edges

My nephew had something similar to that and it fixed itself. My son also had it and it went away on its own.

My baby has funky bug toes and had an ingrown toenail like this! We did epsom salt soaks (which is not easy lol) for 10 min/day and I put antibacterial ointment on it twice daily. It heard up on it’s own! (And now his other toe is red and angry! Can’t win!) we did go to his pediatrician though because paranoid first time mom over here ;) haha but actually it looked pussy initially so that’s why we went.
