Do my nails look normal to you?

I’ve been noticing my nails don’t look healthy, they don’t feel the best either. I’m worried something is wrong.

They look fine to me but if you notice a difference it couldn't hurt to look into it a little more

Maybe try taking some Biotin, it’s for hair skin and nails. If you get your nails done a ton especially with acrylics take a break from it for a bit😊

This is going to sound crazy but maybe check your thyroid. It's a very easily missed issue that is super common. Based on the research that's been done it's estimated only half of Americans with thyroid problems are properly diagnosed. Things I dealt with before that have now all been linked? Fatigue, short cycles, infertility and an early miscarriage once I did get pregnant, excessive thirst aaaand brittle nails. I could write a book about the last 6 months but in short it doesn't hurt to ask your doctor and look into possibilities. Not saying your issue is the same as my issue but trust your gut. I’m no dermatologist or anything, but it may just be some kind of deficiency that would need to be looked into, or maybe a very mild form of Twenty Nail Dystrophy?  That’s something I have, and my nails kind of looked like that at first, this is them now (if it helps any).  I could be completely wrong though.

Usually with nails it could be a thyroid problem .

you need to see a doctor. it may be an iron thing or fungus.  but I've read about that I just remember it was something concerning

my nails looked like this. they were really thin sometimes flakey and the bottom and I could literally just bend them when I pressed on the ends. they would get red at the ends of my nail bed like that too and sometimes feel "hot" and painful If I pressed on them. I started taking hair and nail vitamins, I personally use "sugar bear hair" because they are vegan and delicious but I think if you started taking vitamins everyday you'd see improvement. it helped with me, gotta keep up with it though. avoid getting your nails done and if you paint then maybe find some more natural ingredients based polish instead of the typical chemical filled polish you can get at the store. I found tons of cute shades of natural polish on etsy
