Thoughts on giving your man a promise ring?

We’re both stepping on 18, heading off to college. We’ve been together for 4 years, on our way to five. Is it too early? Should I wait? Does time even count at this point?

I think if you mention the future between you guys and he says that he wants that to be the next step, then go for it! It's all up to you, and while 18 might be a little early, if that's what you think is best then I don't see a problem.

My boyfriend and I are both 18 as well and we’ve talked about college and plans together after school. We’ve talked about our future and everything and he just gave me a promise ring. We’ve been together about a year and things have been great! I don’t think it’s too early or that you’re too young, it’s only between you and him. If you plan on sticking together and really do see a future together, then why not? It’s comforting to have one I think, I love mine😍

maybe if he gives you one first. Just my opinion though, i wouldnt get my man one at all but thats because i know he wouldnt like wearing a ring unless we're married.
