Breast milk for Diaper rash??

Question

Has anyone help that breast milk will cure a diaper rash? My son developed a rash from diapers a family member bought for him and my aunt told me to put breast milk and that it would cure it..I breast feed but I’m not sure about putting it on there without other suggestions from moms who might have tried this..He has a yeast infection and I’m afraid of irritating it even more☹️ Any suggestions??

I'd say absolutely to breast milk. Also coconut oil always helps my daughter. To be precise I put coconut oil and a thin layer of Desitin over it.. I'm not sure why but that has been like magic for us!

Put it in the bath but don’t put it on the area and cover with a diaper. 
Milk has natural sugars in it, and yeast thrives in warm, dark wet places and sugar. So you could actually make it worse by doing that. 
So put it in a bath, let baby soak for 15 minutes. Then let baby air dry, smother in butt paste or diaper cream, and then diaper 😊

Also add in baking soda to the bath! It will help fight the yeast.
Depending on the baby’s age, consider feeding plain probiotic yogurt (no flavors and check for no added sugar) once a day, too!

I have never tried breast milk and I'm also BF. I have used lanolin cream for your nipples on my baby (6w who developed a badddd rash) and it cleared it up in about two days. completely. I highly recommend using it!
