Antibiotic and vaginal burning/dryness
I’ve been on an antibiotic for 5 days now for a UTI. The antibiotic is Macrobid (Macrodantin). I was also prescribed a diflucan in case it gave me a yeast infection. Well, I don’t have any strange discharge but my vagina is very sore and swollen. Could this be yeast? I’m not sure if I should take it or wait this out a few days. I’m wondering if maybe I’m just dry. Does anyone know if antibiotics can make you dry down there?
