Can opk pick up pregnancy?

I am due my period tomorrow I have been having some symptoms and couldn’t wait till tomorrow to test so I decided to test early. I thought I was using a preg test and when I got a faint line I became a little exited. I then realised it was an opk (oops) can opks pick up pregnancy not sure why I got a faint line the day before my period

You always have LH in your system so you could get a faint line on an ovulation test at any time, but that being said, yes an ovulation test can also pick up a pregnancy. You need a real pregnancy test to be sure.
