When are you all having your first prenatal appointment? 
I told my doctor I got a positive test, and she scheduled me for a 12 week ultrasound. I had a general OBGYN appointment only one week before I tested positive. That seems like so long to wait before going in, though. Is this normal?

They scheduled mine for eight weeks. But I think they're calculating my due date wrong...

If you did a General ob appt recently, then it makes sense to wait until 12 weeks. They will be able to see baby better and do a better check on you at that point.

I'll have my first at 6 1/2 weeks due to my history of MCs. But my doc always does 8 week spots for early confirmation ultrasound

Mine is 9 weeks with an ultrasound
