Brown discharge?

I know I've read it 1,000 times, but I still need some reassurance...today when I wiped there was a TINY bit of brown, sticky discharge. Am I correct that brown discharge is ok?

Glad I came across this post. I started brown spotting when wiping on Saturday. Not a crazy amount and nothing that got on the liner but still scary as we had a miscarriage last year. I'll be 6 wks Friday. Go for an early scan tomorrow. So nervous. Dr put me on progesterone b/c my levels came down in a wk but my HCG went up. This gives me some reassurance. He did tell me it's normal to spot and hubby keeps telling me not to freak cause it's not red like last time with the miscarriage :(

I had that around 6 or so weeks & only had it once and noticed after I peed. I was convinced I was having another miscarriage but my levels are good. I think it's normal!

Thank god you posted this.. I've had exactly the same last night and then just now.. It's very light brown, and only when wiping. I'm 6 weeks today :)

Reassuring to hear that everything should be okay! I've got a midwife appointment Friday so keeping my fingers crossed all is okay until then.

1/3 women are meant to spot during the first trimester as long as you have no heavy bleeding, pain or clots you should be fine.

I'm glad you posted this- I just had this happen, only a tiny bit of brown and no cramping. It's reassuring to know I'm not alone with this, but hopefully the doctor will see me tomorrow!

I had the exact same thing ! Brown and sticky when I was 6w 1d. Had an ultrasound and blood work and everything is fine... As long as it doesn't turn pink or red you're good :) !

I actually went to the doctor today for the same reason. Everything was fine as its old blood and outside of the gestational sack. It can be from a number of things, but it's harmless.

Hi. I also had brown discharge over a period of 3days (& it finally ended today). I am currently 6 weeks pregnant.
Since I was concerned, I visited my Gyno's office today and after doing an ultrasound, he reassured me that the brown discharge was a result of old blood caused by implantation bleeding. 
He also said that I should only be concerned if it is bright red or pink.

Yes... Old blood. Red/pink I would be concerned. Especially if there are clots
