Last month I had to start a new pack of pills two weeks into my old pill pack because I dropped a pill down the sink and didn't have access to another box. So my question is I'm on the type of birth control where every week the hormones are different till my last week which are the sugar pills. So when I transitioned from week two from my old box and the new box should I still be protected from pregnancy? I have never missed a pill even when I dropped my pill down the drain I continued taking the box till I was told to start a new package.
