Ug... I’ve made it to week 38 with tolerable pains along the way... but this friday i might have over exerted myself because I developed a hemorrhoid and I literally can’t move. The pain is excruciating. I literally haven’t been able to move for 12 hours. It could be my final weekend to get out and about and I’m paralyzed. HELP!!!

UPDATE: Day 5 of living with this hemmie. It burst last night and I woke up this morning finally feeling as though I turned a corner on the pain scale. Went and saw the colorectal surgeon today anyways who indeed confirmed it was “thrombosed.” He said he could cut it out but that the pain would go back up for a day. The downside to not cutting it out is that I’d prob be living with this bump for some time and have some mild bleeding for the foreseeable future. Honestly, I was just getting really horrified by all the stories of others having theirs drained that I opted to leave it. As long as the pain keeps subsiding I don’t care if there is a bump there for awhile. I also figure a bajillion more are about to emerge when I give birth so I can deal with it then. So I’m continuing to soak in hot water, take tylenol and applies creams.
