Ovulation pain

Soooo.... im new to tracking my cycle but alway could feel when I was ovulating due to a sharp pain on one side around the middle of my cycle. This is my first TTc using glow which said i ovulated on May 22nd which is the same day i had my normal pain. Ive been trying to research this but get conflicting info..... does ovulation pain normally occur at the end of your fertile window?
