First Appt Venting

Okay ladies. I just have to vent about my first appt. I want to have a midwife throughout my pregnancy, and a give birth at a birthing center, not a hospital. I had an emergency appt that I got worked in for with an OB because I have had a migraine for almost a week and can't work. I had such a terrible experience. The OB was impersonal and cold. Told me I needed to see a high risk OB until my migraines are under control (I understand). He didn't order bloodwork, just said he would see me back in 3 weeks with an ultrasound. Then, "you can get dressed now" and left. He was not considerate at all that I had a miscarriage. Next, when I am at checkout, they tell me they dont take my insurance for ultrasounds so I have to go somewhere else. I was so overwhelmed I almost started bawling. Am I overreacting?
