Bruises on spine ?

My son is 15months old and he has had these bruises for a while. I meant to bring it up to his pediatrician when we were in his office on his 15months checkup and I forgot . I did a little bit of searching and most of them said it could be just a  birthmark but some said it could be leukemia? They don't go away and I could see better when my son bends his back.

maybe his high chair or car seat has somwthung rubbing on it

Does he sit in the high chairs at restaurants often ? I will get bruises on my spine from sitting again wood , or hard plastic sometimes even hard cushioned seats

My kids get these crawling under things. They stand up too soon and hit their back... I feel bad but don’t really know how to stop them from doing it.

Does he go on slides a lot? Sometimes my girls get this from the bottom of the slide if they plop on their butts at the end

Hi, did you ever find out what this was or what was causing his bruising on your son? My son has something similar that comes and goes in that area.

My daughter is always falling back into things. Poor girl has a bruised back all the time. Just keep an eye on it. I don’t think leukemia at all but if t changes colors and fades away he or she could have just fallen back in to something.

I highly doubt leukemia. I’d take him in again just to ask their thoughts but I’m sure it’s harmless.
