Penis irritation?

So, I don't like to shave my vagina. I keep it trimmed. But when my SO and I have sex with my bush even with enough lube, it rubs him raw. But when I shave, it doesn't. Anyone else have this problem? (No he doesn't have an STD, we've tested)

Nope. Never heard of this. Been with my man for 15.5 years, I've never shaved (only trimmed) and have never had a problem. If you use any lube or lotion or anything that might come into contact with his penis, he could be allergic to it.

shaving would cause more friction, if anything. this sounds almost like he's trying to tell you his preference in an odd way.

If he’s allergic to lube you could always go the more natural route and try coconut oil, I’ve heard it works great and not to mention a natural antibiotic so also good for your V. Just a suggestion if you want to try it out or look into it more. Good luck

Mine used to do this. And i was like well, if you want it hairless you gotta pay for it to be lol. So now he pays for my sugaring appointments hahaha

My husband is very similar. We both have to keep shaved. But it is only when I am on top of him. Otherwise it doesn’t bother him. But we do both prefer to be shaved.

Sounds like he could be allergic to the lube. Or he could be allergic to your body wash or detergent you use. He may have sensitive skin. Maybe try a new soap and see if that helps.

We've tried using different lube. I keep it trimmed but it still hurts him. I don't get hurt. And he's never had this problem either. It'll hurt him so bad that we have to give it a few days to heal. Kinda looks like a carpet burn? I've never had this problem with my before boyfriends either. Its like he's allergic to me lol
