Desperately seeking advice

don't get me wrong. I love my fiancé very much. the problem is our age difference. he's 5 years younger than me and it may not seem like much but I can tell it does set us apart. He goes to the bar and sleeps all day and I'm chasing the kiddos and working and stressing over everyday life. He's not very sympathetic so trying to reach out to him for comfort is a total waste of time. He says we are the world to him although he still acts like a high school kid. Is it possible this is a phase or am I wasting my time on a hopeless idea he'll magically grow up ?
