Did you get or already have a Mom cut after baby?

I have ridiculously long hair, but my daughter is always grabbing it and I feel like I need something new. Off to the salon to chop it off! How about you?

To be fair I taught preschool so I've had a short 'mom' cut since before baby, though on me it's a bit boyish and punk. There's only so much glue and applesauce you can comb out before you lose your shit.

my hair was the longest it had been since high school but after I gave birth it was always up in a pony tail because it would get in the way of breastfeeding. I cut it all off to a bob about 4 weeks PP. I could have kept it long but it just would have been up all the time so what's the point?

I went maybe a week and a half or two weeks after I had my LO and chopped it all off. I couldn’t take my hair being in the way for pumping and feeding and just in general.

Yep. Plus it's the transition to color correction because I had a purple hair stain that is still visible in the right light.

Mine is still long but I wear it in a ponytail or bun almost all the time now.

Mines is past collarbone length now, had a bob when I got pregnant. I’m thinking of going back to my chin length bob because the hair pulling has started. But I can pull it up when needed, and I can’t do that easily with a bob 🤔 although spring and summer is approaching, and it’ll be so much easier to wash and go with short hair.

Nope... mines not over the top long but I like mine longer. I cut it to my chin about 3 years ago and never again.

my hair was down my ass my whole life. 30 days before I got pregnant i cut it to shoulder length and Lord behold, hormones and vitamins brought back my long ass hair during pregnancy. although its a pain always wearing a ponytail so he doesnt mess with it, I wont cut it again
