Should I dye my hair?

Hey ladies! I’m asking this because I want to get my hair colored but I have never colored it before. Is it hard to maintain? Does it change the texture of your hair? 
Here’s what my hair looks like now

And this is what I would consider getting

I know this may seem stupid but it’s a big deal because I’m 23 and have literally never colored my hair 😩

what you are wanting is a balayage, which is a grown out root look. it's very simple to upkeep and you only have to update it about once other twice a year if you use your natural hair color as your root color. I vote Yes! I'm a cosmetologist so if you're looking for a low maintenance, fashionable hair color, that is the way to go!

Go for it! I did the same thing about a year ago and it grew out lovely. Just invest in a good shampoo and conditioner. And definitely a hair oil for extra hydration and because blonde highlights definitely get tangled and hard to run your fingers through. I think it would look great on you!

If you get the balayagethen it won’t be hard to maintain because your roots will be darker but you will spend about $200 to get it that way and then touch up at least once in the same year.
