Dads and periods?!?

Sometimes my dad tries to talk about my period with me like I get he’s concerned and wants to be understanding but it’s so awkward and each time he says something about it I try to change the subject. Can you guys relate??

I was raised by my dad, it was very awkward standing in the isle trying to pick out pads for my period. But honestly, I think it scared him more than it did me because he wanted to help so bad but didn’t have the slightest clue as to how. He did his best though, sha daddy. 😄 but yes it’s awkward.

i wouldn’t say it’s awkward. think about it, your father is grown and i’m sure he’s been around girls his whole life. having your period is a natural part of life and every girl gets it. don’t be embarrassed, cause he’s not. he’s just trying to help!
