clomid dosage

i was wondering if i can tell my OB/GYN if she can give me a higher dosage of clomid. I been on clomid for the first time last month and I dont think i got pregnant with that 50mg dosage. I want my doctor to prescribed me 100mg. if i tell her will she let me get 100mg?
