Brown spotting/discharge before period

Last 2 months on the day my period is due I get brown spotting through out the day but it is only there when I wipe this continues for 3-5 days then I have 2 days of medium flow and my period is then finished. I came off the pill in August and my periods have been pretty regular only the last 2 times I’ve had this. Me and my husband are trying to conceive and I’m stressing so bad because it hasn’t happened yet! Does anyone else have the same or have suffered this? Could there be something wrong?
