Conceived multiples on clomid?

Question

How many follicles did you have when you conceived twins?  I had 3 mature follicles (19,19,17) on the right and two smaller on the left (16ish) with my third round of clomid.  I usually only have one mature follicle.  I triggered with ovidrel that night, ovulated 36ish hours later.  We did timed intercourse not IUI so I know my chances aren't that high, just curious what others had!

I got pregnant with my triplets in my first round of Clomid 50mg..... no iui

I didn’t have my follicles monitored for some reason 🤔 but I did use clomid for three months I believe, then added metformin for about two weeks after the clomid ran out. I got pregnant with twins about 1 1/2 months later, but by that time, I wasn’t taking anything. I also have twin little sisters but they’re on my dads side(diff mom). So we assumed they ran in his wife’s family. Buuut I am the only person on my moms side to ever get preggo with twins and I think it was more due to my age (31 at the time) than anything. Because I just read three articles that said metformin and clomid don’t really increase the risk of multiples. But other factors can.. Either that or it does actually run in my dads family🤷🏽‍♀️

I had three follicles on my first round of 50mg of clomid and we did IUI. I conceived my twins that round.

I did letrozole trigger shot and times intercourse and we got pregnant our very first cycle, and with twins. I had 3 follicles.

We did 5mg letrozole, trigger and IUI with our twins. there was 1 definite follicle at I believe an 18 and a maybe.. at like 13 I think?? She thought the 13 wouldn't go because the 18 was about to.

I can’t fully answer your questions (because I don’t know, or they aren’t relevant), but I was taking clomid and conceived twins. Currently 25 weeks pregnant. 
We didn’t use any other intervention methods - natural conception other than the aid of Clomid.

I had 3 follicles 25,24,22 I had two on one side and one on the other. It was my 3rd month on clomid I got my dose upped to 100mg. I also took ovidrel and did iui

I conceived twins on my 3rd round of clomid 100mg, I’m not sure how many follicles it produced as I was not able to get an ultrasound done in December due to the holidays. The average person not on clomid has a 6% chance of conceiving twins but with clomid that increases to 10%.

I had multiple IUI cycles with more than one mature follicle that netted me nothing. While multiple mature follicles do up your chances for multiples by supplying more targets, it's definitely not a certainty. My twin pregnancy was two mature follicles, one on each side.
