ACL??!

This not a love and sex topic but this is where most people respond on.
Anyways anyone that does sports, have you ever torn your ACL and how long was the recovery and could u ever play a sport again?

I had ACL and knee realignment surgery. I used to run track. Can’t anymore 😢

Tore my ACL and meniscus in HS. Had it cleaned up and repaired with a portion of my hamstring. Nearly 15 years later and it still bothers me sometimes, but overall I’m fine. I HIGHLY recommend doing ALL of your physical therapy. I didn’t, which is why I didn’t heal fully.

I tore my acl and meniscus and had surgery to repair/replace. The recovery depends on you honestly. Don’t overdo it, and listen to your doctor. But you’ll be able to feel if your knee is ready for more. Trust your body and ABSOLUTELY STICK TO YOUR PHYSICAL THERAPY TO KEEP YOUR KNEE IN SHAPE. It is soooo important to stay on top of it or it will weaken again and you’ll be in the same shape you were in before. Personal experience with multiple knee injuries lol. But good luck with yours!
