Do you prefer glass bottles or plastic?

I will be formula feeding my son and I’m debating on which is better glass or plastic?
What do you recommend and why?

I used plastic. Seemed safer if it fell on the floor, on my foot, or on baby’s head... all of which happened.

I LOVE glass bottles! I bought the cheapest ones (evenflo) and they are fantastic! I don't like plastic because they get smelly and yucky and have chemicals in them. People are always scared of glass bottles breaking but mine have been dropped, thrown, and flung around and haven't broke at all.

Plastic is lighter weight so it’s easier to feed, won’t break when dropped, and cheaper. We used plastic for a while, but made the decision to switch to glass for sanitary reasons, plus I don’t like the idea of any chemicals from plastic possibly being ingested by my son. We’re happy with our decision, and I love being able to toss our bottles into the dishwasher now. I always washed our plastic bottles by hand because I didn’t like the idea of our dishwasher soap being absorbed by the plastic.

I use Chicco glass. they're quite a bit heavier than plastic, but that's not really a problem, just an observation. plastic just makes me uneasy, even "safe" plastic. the bottles come with a rubber cozy,  and the nipples are silicon, and there's a tilted one that is very breast like. it'll still break when dropped, but I love using them. my son moves a lot while eating, so the size and weight are great!

Absolutely plastic! Glass bottles just aren't safe in my opinion. They get very hot very fast and of course they can obviously break. Also, if you ever send your child to daycare, many won't take glass bottles for those reasons.

Omg I hate myself for putting avent glass bottles on the registry before my daughter was born.  I’ve hated them and she’s now 11 months old. The top doesn’t tighten as well as the plastic ones (so many have loosened and spilled all over her) and I had a large one shatter on the floor when it fell from her stroller. Seriously...get the plastic ones

I use both but I think plastic is better cause glass can break and never know if any little shreds of it go in the milk so for safety plastics
