Light period after TTC

Hello,

I’m in a same sex relationship so only get to try every few months but every time we try, I always spot instead of getting a period for months after and always a BFN. Last time I had to take a tablet to get it all flowing again. Usually my period is about 4 days long with 1 heavy day followed by 3 lighter days.

Has anyone ever experienced this? Anyone know the cause?
