So my mom messaged the lady who did a wonderful job of my newborn photos about doing my cake smash photos for my son’s birthday. The lady declined saying she does not celebrate occasions and she would have to pass. My mom thanked her for her time and that was all.

Afterwards we were discussing it with other family and one of my family members said that she’s trying to run a business and she should still do photos for these kinds of occasions since no one is asking her to celebrate his birthday, we just wanted photos of my son eating a cake. It’s not Christmas or a religious holiday, it’s a birthday and she will lose clients by being picky.

Personally, I don’t care regardless. If she doesn’t want to do them then that’s fine, we will find another photographer who is comfortable. But it got me wondering what I would do. Anyways, I’m open to opinions :)
