Smelly scalp?

How do I get rid of a smelly scalp? I shower every day (I’ve tried not too, doesn’t help) and every time I switch shampoos, it doesn’t smell for a few days, and it goes back to getting really oily and smelly. I shower in the am, sleep on it and wake up to a smelly, oily hair/scalp. Help me ladies! 😭

How often are you changing your pillowcases? Are you going to bed with wet hair? What’s your diet like? Have you talked to your dr about the possibility of yeast/fungal infection?

Try using baking soda, water, and some tea tree oil instead of shampoo. Works beautifully, also make sure not to get conditioner in your scalp.

Do you have fine or thick hair? My hair is really thick and I’m mixed race so I only have to wash my hair once a week as it doesn’t get greasy or smelly before then but I have friends with fine hair and they have to wash their hair everyday otherwise I gets really greasy, and even then it gets greasy. It depends on your hair type.
