Small Military Rant.

I live on an Army Base, my husbands first duty station and I have never heard of people being so selfish and dumb... we’ve been here for a little over a year and almost every other day there’s break in, someone’s dog was let out and got super sick, they’re stealing dumb stuff like dog food, rugs, or snacks. It’s stupid but it’s annoying. MPs did a patrol for a week and a week later it got worse they’re breaking in leaving marks in the houses and just a bunch of bull crap my husband is gone for a month and I’ve never been so terrified to sleep in my own house until now. I have my screen doors and main doors locked. Last night I finally got my nerves to settle so I can fall asleep and it sounded like someone was legit trying to rip my screen door off, they didn’t get it and I guess gave up. So taking a shower I’m on lock, I lock the bathroom door and keep a knife with me now. It’s stupid that we live on base you’d think that we’d feel safer. But no the gate guards will let anyone in, it’s so easy to sneak on base it’s crazy... also living in a state where most of the people are anti military makes crap so much scarier.
