I went In for my first scan today and my worst nightmare happened. We saw the fetal pole and sac...but no heartbeat. according to lmp I'm 7 weeks 5 days. measuring 7 and 1. of course they ordered bloodwork for today and Wednesday to see if it doubles...but they didn't give me much hope and told me it's very possible that my pregnancy is not viable. has anyone else had this happen and then gone back to see a healthy heartbeat and baby? my fiance is telling me to stay positive but it's really hard at this point 😢 also Dr said my gestational sac is not normally shaped. she said she has seen ones like mine carry to full term but mixing that with no heartbeat has me so scared. this is my 3rd pregnancy. one miscarriage previous to this
