How long did you wait for your period after BC?

After stopping birth control, my cycle hasn't returned and it's super frustrating. How long did YOU wait? :)

I stopped taking BC the last week of March and I got a period in April and one 28 days later in May. I've been on BC for 8 years. Idk how it regulated so fast bc my period were out of whack on BC.

I have been off BC since the week of Christmas. After being on BC for 12 years 8 months.   I've had cycles like normal.  Or so I think they are normal. Lately I'm 26 days apart and only 3-4 days. I think this last cycle might have been semi normal, had more cramps but in my lower back. I have no idea how long I have to be off of BC before I am fully rid of the hormones from it.
