Celibate

Ever since I lost my virginity I began watching all of these videos about waiting until marriage. It truly inspired me to not have sex until I find the one I’m going to marry. I feel like I let God down in a way but by doing this and really trying to do this I feel I can make myself happier. Sex definitely isn’t everything to me, and it’s definitely not my main priority. Many of my older friends were saying for me to wait until marriage because they lost theirs before it and wished they had waited. They wished that I wait because they wish they could go back and wait too. So to all the girls out there that want to lose their virginity because they believe everyone their age is having sex, well trust me, they definitely are not. Stay young and stay “innocent”. Have fun without having sex and feeling the need to have sex because not having sex is way more fun. Sex gets in the way of things and so many emotions are attached. It doesn’t matter if your good and separating your emotions bc I am too but just because you think u can handle it doesn’t mean you can. There is so much outside of having sex, focus on school and the friendships you make now that’s the most important thing in highschool. You can make your own decisions for everything just make sure you can handle everything after it to come.
