Nursing clothes??

Hey guys! Just wanted to get some opinions from some mamas about how to prepare for breastfeeding. Are the tops and dresses made specifically for nursing really worth the investment? (the ones I’ve seen are pretty pricey). Or should I just stock up on flowy/loose tops? I’m giving birth in March and live in the south so it will be summer weather mostly. Any advice is appreciated! ❤️

Nursing tanks are worth it. I just wore regular shirts over them so my tummy wasnt hanging out. They are pretty cheap at Walmart, Burlington, or amazon.

I have exclusively breastfed two babies previously and what worked for me is a nursing tank top and any shirt over that I can pull up and then pull the nursing tank top down to nurse. This way ur midsection is covered and not exposed. I will post a link to a great cover too :)

I use a regular cami over nursing bra and any shirt I want. I roll up my shirt, pull down the cami and let baby do their thing. No investment, and my midrift stays covered while I nurse

Target has a lot of cute and affordable nursing tank tops and bras, in the bra section! I would get at least two tank tops and one bra to start. Most regular tank tops are pretty easy to whip a boob out of the top of though lol

I struggled so much with my wardrobe when I was breastfeeding my son. My advice is to get a few nursing tops that are cute and comfortable and made for nursing. Invest in some nursing bras and tanks, they are a lifesaver. Flowy shirts work well with a nursing tank underneath! Also, using a nursing tank and a kimono cover up or cardigan looks super cute and super easy to breastfeed and kinda cover up at the same time and I still wear my kimonos and cardigans even after breastfeeding because they are not for nursing in particular. 
I got some nursing tanks, bras and some long sleeve comfy nursing shirts off Amazon. 
I got my kimonos from everywhere like Pinkblush Maternity, Kohl’s, Target, etc. 
I also got some great “basic” tees from H&M; that are amazing. They are the divided brand and are longer in the back so wearing them with leggings and stretchy enough to pull down over boob or you can just life up the traditional way!

I'm personally not investing in anything until I know for sure I CAN even breast feed. I'm stocked up on all the other supplies; pump, bottles, breast pads, nipple cream, etc but holding off on specific nursing clothing.
