Amazon registry question!!

I've tried googling but no luck.. I made a registry on Amazon. Over a month ago I started getting alerts that gifts were being purchased off my registry (yay!) and were "on the way". I havent actually relieved any of them though. Will they all be delivered closer to my due date (middle of sept) or is something messed up with Amazon?
