Fainting While Pregnant

Did any of you have trouble with almost fainting or fainting while pregnant? I am 26 weeks with my first and have almost fainted twice. I was sitting down today when it happened and had eaten breakfast. I am going to the doctor this afternoon, but I was wondering if this has happened to others and why it happened.
