So I had an ultrasound today. investigating the cause of my heavy and irregular periods but also will be beneficial when I see the consultant as we have been ttc for 13 months. Given the fact that I have a very tilted uterus to get the best look I needed to have an internal scan. sonograpger was in me to see any reason for my heavy/painful AF. She said the uterine lining looked good and noted that I had a dispersed cyst on my left side. I worried thinking a cyst was something bad but she explained it was another way of referring to a folicle. So meaning my ovaries are working fine and producing eggs. She said that should I have managed to get pregnant this month it would be too soon for her to see on scan anyway because my AF is not due until the weekend. any one else experienced anything like this or know whether there is any way to tell from this whether pregnancy is a possibility? your advice would be greatly appreciated x
