Baby Registry??

Hi ladies, I'm wondering what is the better place to register for baby items? My sister is pregnant and due in August, she registered at Baby's R Us and it seemed like most of the items were very pricey. I have looked at Target and Walmart and they seem to have more reasonably priced items. I want good quality, but I also don't want the guests at my baby shower to break the bank. Any thoughts or personal experience of what is the better option? Or perhaps there is a whole other store I haven't thought you. Thanks :-)
