When should I transition baby into their own room?

When did you guys put your baby in the crib? I currently have my LO in a bassinet by my bed.  He’s one month old. His nursery is across from our bedroom.

My baby was in his room since day 1 and he is 2 now

Baby always naps in his room and sleeps in his room. He will be 3 months next week. Goes to bed at 7pm and wakes at 3/4am.

Good question my is 3 and she prefers our room. She is ready to be a big sister and said she will be ok then in her room. I work ft and still get good night sleep :) They get to be a baby once.

my baby is in our room at 5 months.  I've read to transition at 6 months,  if you want to.

My baby still sleeps in our room in his pack n play most of the night. Some nights he needs to sleep with me. He’s still getting up 3+ times a night and eats. He is 8 months old now. I’ve always been told that every baby is different and when he’s ready, he will just do it. Up until 6 months he wouldn’t even nap without me holding him and then one day he just started napping in his pack in play. I also figured out though that he needs his paci, a burb cloth next to his face and a heavy blanket. It tricks him into thinking he’s sleeping snuggled up next to me.
