How to survive the flu while pregnant ???

Has anyone had the flu  in early pregnancy how did you make it threw ? What did you take what could you keep down I’m miserable ??

Vick’s , chamomile tea with Honey with no caffeine . Also I just boiled water added honey and fresh lime . Anything with vitamin C stay hydrated . It helped me a lot

Curl up in bed until the worst passes. I don’t know about anyone else but I couldn’t keep anything down if I tried for the first24 hours. I had it twice with my last pregnancy. Once I felt better lots of water, popsicles and BRAT diet until I gained my strength back.

I got the flu when I was about 6 weeks. I just tried my best to lay on the couch and sleep. Thankfully my husband stayed home from work to help with our daughter. I drank hot water with lemon and honey to help with the cough and loosen mucus. I tried to drink as much water as possible to help with the headaches. Juice and Gatorade helped give me some energy. As for the fever, chills and hot flashes, I wore comfortable clothing and had a blanket near by for when I needed it. Between early pregnancy symptoms and the flu, it was rough. I also noticed it took me longer to recover from it than it would have if I wasn’t pregnant too. Keep that in mind! Just rest as much as you possibly can!
