Tampon brands recommended?

Hi I am looking into trying tampons. I tried my first one today and I think it was too long and big for me, plus the insert was made of cardboard. It was free so whatever. I am looking into trying them again but with a different, higher up brand. I want something that is small but absorbent. I also want something that I can move around with. The one I tried today hurts whenever I move and it's like you've got a stick up your vagina. I don't know what are considered good brands or not and I want to know what you all think. I'd like to add that I am not looking for an alternative or someone to tell me not to use tampkns, I am just looking for brand suggestions and any specific kind in that brand that you think would be good.
