opinions?

im 4'11. 18 year old female and 170 pounds. im medium build and very curvy. my ideal weight should be between 120-130. but im not striving for super skinny. i like my body. there's just certain problem areas that i could lose (stomach, legs...) i put myself on a 1200 calorie diet to lose at least 1 pound a week. plus exercise. my goal weight is to reach between 140-145. will even losing at least 12 pounds make an "evident" difference?
