Clearblue advanced digital ovulation test

Has anyone had any experience of these before, if so how reliable did you find them? I started using on day 8 of my cycle (recommended on the intructions) and it showed as low - the next day it showed as my peak day and did not let me test again for 48 hours. I did another test this morning and it showed as low again.

Is it likely that I ovulate much earlier than I thought? Or is it more likely that I have a faulty test?
