Does not want solids!

Question

My 6 month old started eating solids, and loved it! However, he does not want to eat anymore! He gags, turns away, cries, and makes unpleasant faces. I have no idea why he suddenly stoped being interested. Please help!

My baby is also 6 months and he really doesn’t care for baby food. He’s more interested in what we’re eating. So if it’s soft and I know he can gum it i give him small bites. Like for example.. beans, rice, mashed potatoes, spaghetti, Mac & Cheese, peas, bagels & cream cheese. I do buy baby food for him too, so he gets both.

My little guy did that as well. I ended up giving him finger foods and he loved that. Now as long as he gets something to pick up, he will also eat the puree.

My son goes through phases where he is not into eating solids at all, usually when teething is really painful! I have noticed during these times he is more willing to try pieces of food (baby led weaning style)
