Very dark urine?

Question

When I go to the bathroom my urine is very dark, almost like a golden color and when I wipe it looks orangish, hopefully that makes sense. I am pretty sure I am dehydrated (I get about 20oz a day) since I haven't been able to keep fluid or food down. Could this be from anything else? I'm 11 weeks on Thursday :-)

You're dehydrated and, if you're taking a prenatal vitamin, you'll be passing extra waste nutrients through your urine as well. Just try and drink as much as you can keep down.

Why do you only drink 20 oz of water a day? You need at least 48-64 oz a day. Sounds like you are dehydrated. Otherwise possibly a vitamin you are taking is the culprit? I know some prenatals turn pee fluorescent color.

I forgot to add I had a bladder infection a few weeks ago but my doctor didn't say anything about it at my last appointment when my urine was checked.
