Best time for 3D?

Does anyone know from experience when is the best time to get facial features on ultrasound. I done research some say 26-28 because further down the road there is less amniotic fluid to make the image clear???

My SIL had hers done at 32 and 34 weeks, pictures turned out great. Both of her babies were small, 6 lb or under at birth, I know some people say 34 weeks is too late. I'll be going at 31 weeks, fingers crossed!

My doctors office does one with every ultrasound visit as long as he doesn't seem to be shy. This was mine at 26wks

I have mine on the 11th and I'll be 26+1. I'm really hoping she cooperates and I can see her!
