When can I start reading to my baby?

I want to read to the baby. I'm just not sure exactly when my baby will be able to hear. I've read babies can't hear until 14 weeks but also not till 23weeks so I was just wondering when my baby can hear me??

Pshh start reading now!!! who cares if baby can hear for sure or not :). You will enjoy the bonding time. It's hard to bond with your tummy early on, I'd say reading would be a wonderful idea, plus once baby can hear you he/she will begin to recognize voices so read your heart out ♡!!!

I've heard mixed reviews too. My thought process is... it never hurts anybody :) Even if it can't hear you yet sometimes it's nice to take a few minutes to just be with your baby that day.

If a baby has ears I'm sure it can here right when it's born. It also can hear while its in the womb. I think it starts to gain hearing during the third trimester. This is what I have heard of course but I believe it
