Why is my period late? Need serious answers.

​ I had unprotected sex 3 days after my week of ovulation, and my boyfriend didn't ejaculate inside of me. I am on the ortho try cyclen lo birth control pill, and have been correctly taking the pills for 3 months. I usually have symptoms and pms 1 week before my period, and get my period usually on the 3rd or 4th sugar pill. This time, I have absolutely no symptoms, and I am supposed to start my period today and have no sign of it. I thought that with my hormones being regulated, my period would be normal, but this isn't. Is it normal to skip a period while on the pill? I am still worried about the possibility that I am pregnant, and the fact that I have no sign of a period is adding on to my anxiety. I am not ttc, and would like to know the chances that I'm pregnant or that I just skipped a period.
